Protocol Magazine is an independent publication founded in 2012 dedicated to the pursuit of Human Rights. Providing high quality analysis, commentary and review, we strive to encourage an all encompassing study of our subject.

 

We hope to create a forum and space where students may write about human rights and social justice. We wish to provide them with the means through which to air their passions, developing both their very awareness and research of relevant issues the world over, while arming them with the confidence to appropriately express themselves.

 

We welcome the most divergent and wide-ranging of contributions and viewpoints, so as to enrich the scope and validity of the project, and are actively in search of expert submissions. We do not pretend that there is a single, comprehensive definition nor understanding of human rights and wish to propagate a diversity of interpretations.

 

We welcome all contributions relevant to our aims and researched to a high standard. We are not on the lookout for the average IR or politics-styled article, but are motivated by genuine individual input and thought in a contribution. On a semesterly basis we hope to distribute a pamphlet compiling the best articles on our website, as selected by a specially convened committee. We are also considering hosting a select few events and campaigns throughout the year in conjunction with other societies.
