Vasanthi Gunasekaran

Vasanthi is currently in her third year studying International Relations at the University of St Andrews. While volunteering at a home for displaced children in Jaffna, Sri Lanka during the post-civil war period in 2011, she gained experience managing non-profit communications. Vasanthi is extremely dedicated to raising awareness about human rights issues, and served as Vice-president of the Stand Against Genocide society (STAND) in 2012. Additionally, she has served as Public Relations Officer for Women for Women International, petitioning for recognition of the struggles of Afghan women. Vasanthi currently serves as Director of Public Relations for Protocol Magazine. Her responsibilities include promoting the content and the magazine through various media channels. She also has wide experience writing for publications, having written for print media on issues related to the conservation of Indian heritage.
